The feature gives you access to schedule for a same day sick appointment from any smartphone or tablet from the privacy of your own home or wherever is most convenient for you.  If you don't find a time that works for you, send a request and we can call you back.  Reminder, if your child has a chronic concern or was recently seen at the ER please contact our office directly for scheduling. Update 2/18/22-Powder Infant Formula Recall

On 2/17/22 the FDA (Food & Drug Administration) issued an investigation on powdered infant formula produced from Abbott Nutrition’s Sturgis.  The firm is working with the FDA to initiate a voluntary recall of the potentially affected product. The FDA is advising consumers not to use Similac, Alimentum, or EleCare powdered infant formulas.   Below is a link from the FDA with additional information...

We have some updates to share regarding office hour changes to help accommodate the needs of our patients as well as our staff:

Effective the week of November 15th, we are temporarily suspending our Saturday morning clinic hours. We will continue to provide 24/7 on call coverage in case of emergencies.

Our modified walk-in clinic hours are generally 8 am to 11 am Monday through Friday for established patients 2 months of age and older based upon availability. This is for acute illnesses.

Update 11/03/21-Covid-19 Vaccine Update

Hello, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration expanded the emergency use authorization for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is children ages 5 through 11.  Pediatric Group Associates encourages children ages 5 and older to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, as children can become seriously/deathly ill from COVID-19, and vaccination can, if not totally prevent, lessen the severity of the infection. 

At this time, we are unable to provide the COVID-19 vaccine at the office. Please reach out to your local health department and pharmacies for availability.  Please be patient and understanding as these partners work to vaccinate those eligible to receive the vaccine.  We will provide any additional updates to our Facebook page and website, please check back.  

Update 10/26/21-Dr. Herr Retirement

We are excited to announce the upcoming retirement for Thomas J. Herr, MD effective January 1, 2022.  He has practiced pediatrics in the Quad Cities since July 1981.  His associates, Dr. Haile Neptune, Dr. Anders Brodd, Scott Meskimen CPNP, Elizabeth Richmiller, CPNP, Molly Wiebel CPNP and Kathleen Averill CPNP will continue to provide excellent care for infants and children in his absence.  He thanks all for the years of entrusting the lives and care of your children in his hands.

Update 6/11/2021

Road construction begins today, June 11th- Avenue of the Cities!!!
The westbound traffic on Avenue of the Cities is closed from 18th Street A to 19th Street. If you use the I74 exit to travel to the office you will need to use an alternate route. The road construction is expected to last until August 2020. Call us at 309-797-5437 with any questions.

As road work continues on Avenue of the Cities from 18th Street A to 19th Street, westbound Avenue of the Cities traffic will be closed and detours in place starting Friday, June 11, 2021. This closure is to facilitate the installation of new sanitary sewer.

Message boards are in place notifying the traveling public of any changes in traffic. Detour signage will be in place.

Delays are expected while the work is being completed. The City of Moline encourages motorists to plan ahead and use an alternate route. The construction is expected to take until August.

problems like rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, sunburn and ear pain.   We kindly invite you to limit 1 parent or guardian, when possible, to accompany the child to the exam room and face coverings for individuals who can medically tolerate them. We continue to take additional precautions to ensure the safety and health of our patients and staff through the use of our mobile registration and gathering information in advance of your appointment.

Holiday Hours....

Our Walk-In Clinic will be open from 8 am to 11 am for established sick patients only on the following days:
