This clinic is for sports physicals and problems like rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, sunburn and ear pain. This clinic is not for visits that require vaccines or for patients who are sick, have fever, cough or known exposure to Covid-19, in which case we ask you call ahead to schedule the most appropriate and safe appointment type. We kindly invite you to limit 1 parent or guardian to accompany the child to the exam room and face coverings for individuals who can medically tolerate them.

Updated 7/1/20

The health & safety of our patients, families,& staff continues to be a top priority so we have put into place many changes to ensure your children get the care they need in a safe appointment experience.
We have instituted a new mobile registration and check-in system so that you have little to no time in the waiting room and can go from your car to a designated, prepared exam room with only a brief stop by the front desk.  Registration forms, insurance cards, and co-payments can all be submitted prior to your arrival at the office. When you arrive we ask that you call or text us through the registration system and we will let you know when your room is ready.
All surfaces and equipment are wiped down between each patient.  We are asking families to limit the number people coming into the office to only the patient and one adult caretaker when possible and for everyone who can medically tolerate it to wear a mask.  Everyone that enters the office is being screened for Covid exposure and symptoms so that high risk individuals can be triaged into the safest appointment type to avoid risk to others. Telemedicine and curbside appointments are being offered for appropriate conditions. We do not want our patients to have to go the ER or express care if unnecessary and thus are keeping open spaces for same-day visits.
The walk-in clinic has been suspended, however beginning Monday July 6, we will offer a Drive-Up Call-In Clinic M-F from 8:00-9:00am for sports physicals and non-sick care such as rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, sunburn, ear pain, ect.  The Drive-Up Call-In Clinic witll not be for visits that require vaccines or for patients who are ill with fever or cough, in which case we ask you to call to speak with a nurse to schedule the most appropriate and safe appointment type.
If your child has been exposed to Covid-19, call us to that we can help you navigate the next steps for them and your family. We cannot do the blood antibody test at the office, but we may swab your child if indicated.
We appreciate your patience and support as we strive to meet the ongoing needs of our community in the safest manner possible.  There continues to be more questions than answers about the pandemic and our protocols will continue to evolve as we acquire more knowledge.  We feel confident that we can safely care for our patients, so please call us with any concerns.

Update 06/04/2020

We are taking many measures to ensure your child can still get the healthcare they need from us in the safest manner possible.  Telemedicine virtual visits, curbside visits, and in office visits with a contactless check-in system with no stop in the waiting room are all available options for our families.

COVID 19 continues to represent a mild illness for the majority of children, but we want to avoid spreading it to others who might be at higher risk. We are using PPE and continuous disinfection measures to protect our patients, staff, and families ❤️

As a reminder we have suspended the walk-in clinic, all visits are by appoinmtent.  Pediatric Group Associates continues to take additional precautions to ensure the safety and health of our patients and staff by gathering your information in advance of your child's visit.

We are now using a Mobile Registration.  This allows our families to confirm the appointment and complete pre-registration forms, make a payment, upload your insurance card and your photo id from your home prior to arrival at the office.  Please make sure we have your up-to-date email address or phone number by calling us at 309-797-5437.

Upon arrival to our office, we ask you to call us from your car and we will confirm your exam room is ready so you do not have to wait in our waiting room.  We kindly ask families to limit those coming into the office with the patient to one parent or guardian whenever possible and try to avoid bringing siblings unless they are schedculed for an appointment.  As required by the Illinois Goveror, individuals over the age of 2 who are able to medically tolerate, need to wear a face mask or covering.

If a parent or patient coming to the office for a well child check has been ill, we ask that they call first to avoid exposing staff and other patients.

The most important ways to keep everyone safe and healthy is to wash your hands a lot and stay home. As always, if you need anything please reach out, we are in this together
