Pediatric Group Associates specializes in the comprehensive medical care of children from birth to college.  Our physicians, nurse practitioners, and staff are committed to providing a caring, attentive, and open relationship with you and your children to keep them well and help them grow up healthy and happy. Our goal is to help each child reach their highest potential.   We want to be lifelong partners in your child’s health.  As such we take time to talk with parents  about their child’s needs and equip them with the knowledge necessary for promoting a lifetime of optimal health and wellness. Some of the services we provide include Immunizations, Newborn Care, and Mental Health Consultations. 

We consider it a great joy, privilege, and responsibility to care for children.  Thus, from preventative well child check-ups, to treatment of acute illnesses and ongoing management of chronic conditions, we strive to meet and exceed our families’ expectations while maintaining the highest standards of excellence in pediatric medicine.

Meet The Doctors

  • Dr.
    Christopher Moen

    Dr. Christopher Moen joined Pediatric Group Associates in 1980. Board Certified in pediatrics, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is the former President of the medical staff at Trinity Medical Center. Currently, Dr. Moen serves on the Board of Comprehensive Health Administration. He earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago's Children's Memorial Hospital. Dr. Moen grew up and resides in Moline. He enjoys golf, jogging, skiing and spending time with his wife and three children. Dr. Moen retired from clinical practice in December of 2017 after 41 years caring for local children, however he continues to be a guiding influence in our practice.

    Thomas Herr

    Dr. Thomas Herr joined Pediatric Group Associates in 1981. Board Certified in pediatrics, Dr. Herr is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the American Medical Association and the Rock Island County Medical Society. He is a past President of the Illinois Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a past member and chair of the Academy's Chapter Chairmen's Forum Committee. He has served on the Academy's committees on Practice and Ambulatory Medicine and Coding and Reimbursement.  He has served at the request of the Secretary of Health & Human Services on the Advisory Commission on Childhood Vaccines.  He has received several noteworthy honors and awards in recognition of his contributions to the field of pediatrics. Dr. Herr earned his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed his internship and residency at Children's Memorial Hospital of Chicago. He grew up in upstate New York and now resides in Moline with his wife and three children. Dr. Herr enjoys golf and tennis. Dr. Herr retired from clinical practice in December 2021 after 40 years caring for the children and continues to support the practice in many ways.

    Haile Neptune

    Dr. Haile Neptune joined Pediatric Group Associates in 1995. Board Certified in pediatrics, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the American Medical Associations, the Rock Island County Medical Society and the Illinois Medical Society. Dr. Neptune earned his medical degree from the University of Monterrey in Mexico and completed his pediatric training at St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center of New York where he served as chief resident. Fluent in French, English and Spanish, Dr. Neptune once served as clinical director for a rural clinic in a Mexican Rockies Indian reservation and worked in the emergency and inpatient units at L'Annonciation Canada. Dr. Neptune grew up in Canada and now resides in Moline. He enjoys sports and spending time with his wife and daughter.

    Anders Brodd

    Dr. Anders Brodd joined Pediatric Group Associates in 2001. He is Board Certified in pediatrics and is a member of the American Medical Association. Dr. Brodd earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa and completed his pediatric residency at the children's Hospital of Iowa at the University of Iowa. Dr. Brodd grew up and resides in Moline with his wife and two children. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children, riding his motorcycle, sports, music and movies.

  • Scott Meskimen

    Scott Meskimen CPNP joined Pediatric Group Associates in 2011. Scott received his Masters in Nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is Board Certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Prior to joining PGA Scott worked for the University of Iowa's Children's Hospital in the Pediatric ICU and General Pediatric floor. Scott lives in Iowa and in his free time enjoys golfing, running and spending time with his wife and children.

  • Elizabeth Richmiller

    Elizabeth Richmiller CPNP joined Pediatric Group Associates in January 2015. Elizabeth received both her Bachelors and Doctorate degrees from the University of Missouri. She is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board, and she completed a 1 year residency at PGA. Prior to joining PGA as a Nurse Practitioner, Elizabeth worked on the General Pediatric Floor at the University of Missouri Children's Hospital, as well as at PGA as a nurse for the past 4 years. She lives in Iowa with her husband, and in her free time enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, exercising, and cheering for Mizzou football

  • Molly Wiebel

    Molly Wiebel CPNP joined Pediatric Group Associates in July 2016. Molly received both her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Saint Louis University.  She is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Prior to joining PGA as a Nurse Practitioner, Molly worked at Saint Louis Children’s Hospital for 7 years on a variety of units, including general inpatient care, ICU and the Emergency Department. She lives in Iowa with her husband and baby, and she enjoys traveling, yoga, cooking, and spend time with family.

  • Kathleen Averill

    Kathleen Averill CPNP joined Pediatric Group Associates in 2007. Kathleen received both her Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Iowa and is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.  Prior to joining PGA Katie worked at the University of Iowa Children's Hospital and at a school based health clinic.  Katie grew up in Moline and currently resides with her husband and four children.  She enjoys cooking, running, reading, and spending time with her family.
