On Monday March 30, 2026, our Sick Clinic is available Monday thru Friday 8 am to 9:45 am for established sick patients only over the age of 2 months with acute symptoms. You no longer have to wait around until office hours to book an appointment, please use our self-scheduling clinic link to reserve your time: https://phreesia.me/WalkedIn . If you do not want to use the sick clinic you may use the request an appointment link: https://phreesia.me/PGARQ and our staff will call you back which is monitored Monday thru Friday 8 am to 4 pm during business operation hours which may vary due to holidays. You may also call the office during business hours and follow the prompts to leave a message and our staff will return your call. The sick clinic is for acute problems like sore throat, cough, congestion, fever, etc. we do not see chronic illnesses during this time. Reminder our first available provider will see your child and at times technology does not always work, so please call us, we are here to help!

Update 10/28/25-
🎃 Halloween Office Hours Update 🎃 Please note that our office will be closing early at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 31st in celebration of Halloween. We’ll resume regular business hours on Monday, November 3rd.

Update- 08/29/25-Flu Shots Available!!!
We are now scheduling flu shots and have available appointments. Please call us at 309-797-5437 x 3 from 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm. Your child will need to be current on a well check.
Update 8/25/25 Office Closed for Labor Day-
Our office will be closed on Monday, September 1st in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. We will re-open on Tuesday, September 2nd at 8 am. We wish you and your families a safe and happy holiday. Don't forget you can use one of our self-scheduling tools until we resume normal business hours!

Our Sick Clinic will be available Thursday July 3rd from 8 am to 9:45 am and we will be open until 12 pm/noon. Our office be closed all day on Friday July 4th. Update 5/07/25- Memorial Day Closure-
Our office will be closed on Monday, May 26th in observance of the Memorial Holiday. We will re-open on Tuesday, May 27th at 8 am. We wish you and your families a safe and happy holiday.
Update 12/11/24- Holiday Hours
Our office will be closed on Wednesday December 25th and Wednesday January 1st. On Tuesday, December 24th, Thursday December 26th and Tuesday December 31st and Thursday January 2nd our Sick Clinic will be available from 8 am to 10:30am. Please utilize the online scheduling options. If your child is under 2 months of age please speak with Triage Nursing (if calling between 8 am and 10:30 am on 12/24, 12/26, 12/30 or 1/2/25) to schedule a time. Be sure to check out our Facebook page for additional announcements as well. We will have normal business hours on Monday December 23, Friday December 27th, Monday December 30th and resume to normal business on Friday, January 3rd. Update 4/17/23-Self-Scheduling same day sick appointment in
addition to our sick clinic!
We are now testing online self-scheduling for limited same day sick
appointment times in addition to our morning sick clinic. The feature gives
you access to schedule for a same day sick appointment from any smartphone
or tablet from the privacy of your own home or wherever is most convenient
for you. If you don't find a time that works for you, send a request
and we can call you back. Reminder, if your child has a chronic
concern or was recently seen at the ER please contact our office directly
for scheduling. To self-schedule the sick appointment, enter your
appointment details and choose an open time slot. Once you receive the text
message cod, be sure to enter this in order to reserve your time slot.

We now have limited Saturday acute symptom appointments available only through our self-scheduling link found on our Facebook page. The post will be updated by 7 pm on Friday evenings. Please like and follow our Facebook page for continued updates and access to the Saturday scheduling. Our phones will not be on during Saturday appointments due to limited staff coverage.
A friendly reminder, our sick clinic is currently available 8am to 1045 am Monday thru Friday for established patients over 2 months of age. We have some updates to share regarding office hour changes to help accommodate the needs of our patients as well as our staff:
Effective the week of November 15th, we are temporarily suspending our
Saturday morning clinic hours. We will continue to provide 24/7 on call
coverage in case of emergencies.
Our modified walk-in clinic hours are
generally 8 am to 11 am Monday through Friday for established patients 2
months of age and older based upon availability. This is for acute
illnesses.

Update 10/26/21-Dr. Herr Retirement
We are excited to announce the upcoming retirement for Thomas J. Herr, MD effective January 1, 2022. He has practiced pediatrics in the Quad Cities since July 1981. His associates, Dr. Haile Neptune, Dr. Anders Brodd, Scott Meskimen CPNP, Elizabeth Richmiller, CPNP, Molly Wiebel CPNP and Kathleen Averill CPNP will continue to provide excellent care for infants and children in his absence.
